As we bid Mona farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mona is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her spouse Dr. Wagdi Salib; her siblings, Nabil, Sophie, Shehata and Mamdouh Shehata; and her nieces, Mary-Ann, Christina, Anne (Michael), Diana and Nadia (Daniel).
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. George and St. Abanoub Coptic Orthodox Church (860 Nipissing Rd, Milton, ON L9T4Z9). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at the Holy Family Catholic Cemetery (2523 Lower Base Line, Milton, ON L9T2X5).
