She is survived by: her parents, Michael and Rachel; her sibling Phillippa; her husband Michael Austin of Milton, Ontario.; and her nieces and nephews, Camilla, Oliver, Maximus, Caitlan, Emily and Erin.
In her later working life she also enjoyed her time at Freedom Village of Canada, a charity helping troubled youth for a number of years and loved making a difference in the community.
