The memory of Gordon Comfort Hughson in Mindemoya, Ontario, who passed away on May 7, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Hughson and Dorothy Hughson; his wife Sharon; and his brother Lorne. He is survived by: his children, Bonnie (Dan), Cathy (Tina) and Darrin (Paula); his partner Marion Elrick-Brewer; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica (Ryan), Holly, Alannah and Sean. He is also survived by siblings and their spouses, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Island Funeral Home O/O Simpson Funeral Home (36 Worthington St, Little Current, ON P0P1K0). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Manitoulin Health Centre would be greatly appreciated.
