He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Newell and Victoria Newell (Cox); and his siblings, Florence, Grant, Edith, Mike, Joy, Barbara, Eldridge and Hartley.
He is survived by: his spouse Gala (Snell); his children, Colin (Alison), Greg and Kelly (Chris Allaire); and his siblings-in-law, Yvonne Newell, Chris Reid (Butch Harrison) and Jack Snell (Cathy). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
