He was predeceased by: his sister Jacqueline; and his parents, Thomas Byrnes and Johanna Byrnes. He is survived by: his spouse Marnie Robinson; his children, Tammy, Terry (Tammy), Jennifer and David (Lindsay); and his siblings, Clemmy (Dorothy), Johnny (late Gloria), Reggie (Lorraine), Terry (Sylvia), Martin (Beverly), James (Jeannie), Noreen and Patricia (Ed).

Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged through the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., P.O. Box 427, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0.
