He was predeceased by : his sister Margaret MacKeigan; and his nephews, Rod Dobbs, Jeremy and Justin Nesbitt. He is survived by : his significant other Cherie; his children, Elishya and Jeff Miscio; and his grandsons, Owen MacKeigan and Nathan Miscio.

“It is a saddening time to know Sydney passed away so young. My brother Kerry and I had the privilege of meeting up with him last year and talking about our childhood and laughing. It was so good to see him after so many years. I will remember the smile on his face when he talked about his wife, his kids, and his grandkids. He will live on in lot of hearts and the stories that people will tell and smile he is still here in spirit. My condolences to his family during this time.”
