He was predeceased by: his parents, John Patrick McMahon and Florence Isabel McMahon (MacDonald); and his siblings, Joan Catherine MacDonald, Donald Patrick, William Robert and John Leo.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Jean McMahon (MacPhee); his daughters, Sheryl Eileen Dundas (David) and Patricia Amanda McMahon; his grandchildren, Sarah Jessica Slasor, Samantha Rachel Dundas, Joshua Douglas Dundas, Steven David Ciccolini and Ava Donna Ciccolini; his sisters, Shirley Theresa Breton (Paul) and Mary Eileen McCullough (Leonard); and his sisters-in-law, Beverly McMahon (William) and Joyce McMahon (John).
