Aristotle George Kanavos Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Aristotle George Kanavos (Mississauga, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2025 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Tessa; and his grandchild-in-law Pappou. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his daughters, Sofia (Charlie), Angela (Donny) and Stephanie (Mark); and his grandchildren, Aris, Elena, Wyatt, Theo, Griffin, Lachlan and Dylan. He is also survived by his loving family and the many friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home Mississauga Chapel (420 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L5A1X5). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church (1785 Matheson Blvd, Mississauga, ON L4W1V2). A burial was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trafalger Lawn Cemetery (1149 Dundas St W, Oakville, ON L6M4L8).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sharing a meal with loved ones in Ari's memory, as he would have wanted.
