Beatrice Shannon Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Beatrice Shannon (Mississauga, Ontario). Beatrice, born on February 4, 1939, passed away on September 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Patrick Joseph Shannon; her daughter Maureen Shannon (Ward); her parents, Joseph Cassar and Maria Cassar; and her siblings, Jesse Bonello, Esther Colario, Len Cassar, Tony Cassar, Sam Cassar, Sister Susana Cassar (Nena) and Polly Gow.
She is survived by: her sons, Dean Shannon and John Shannon; her siblings, Jane Beauchamp, Fred Cassar and Doris Camilleri; her granddaughters, Lyndsie Cox and Jackie Harvey; and her great grandchildren, Charlie and Zachary Cox. She is also survived by her friends, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B1M8). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Martin of Tours Church (1290 McBride Ave, Mississauga, ON L5C1M8).
