Though Bing Yu may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bing Yu touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Shui Kam Choi and Chan. He is survived by: his wife Mei-Fong Chan; and his children, Sze-Ming, Hung-Ming and Fion.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Throughout his life, he made generous donations to causes that were close to his heart, including but not limited to: Unicef, United Way, the Canadian Cancer Society, and the Trillium Health Partners Foundation.
