He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth Hobbs and Patricia Hobbs; and his brother Michael. He is survived by : his wife Jan; his children, Janet (Pino) and Scott (Lisa); his stepson Corey (Vanessa); his grandchildren, Sebastian, Stefan, Skyla, Preston, Kennedi, Katelynde (Ryan), Cameron and Jenna; his great grandchild Georgia; and his sisters, Carol, Linda (Bob) and Kathy (Trevor). He is also survived by friends and extended family.

For those who wish, donations may be made to the Hospital For Sick Children or the Deaf Culture Centre in Toronto.
