It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dimitrios Doukogiannis (Mississauga, Ontario), who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Dimitrios departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dimitrios may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dimitrios leaves behind.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church (1785 Matheson Blvd, Mississauga, ON L4W1V2). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. John's Dixie Cemetery (737 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L4Y2B5).
