He was predeceased by : his brothers, Fred (Marlene) and Donald; and his sister-in-law Patricia. He is survived by : his wife Diane Ash; his child Courtney (Bryan); his grandchildren, Ashley, Colin and Emily; his sibling-in-law Pat; and his nephews, Frederick, Matthew and Andrew.
