She was predeceased by: her husband Francesco "Frank"; and her nephew David. She is survived by: her children, Rita and Gabriel; her sister Lina (late Carlo Di Salvatore); her sister-in-law Helen (late Renzo Di Luca); and her sibling's children, Elizabeth, Jayne and Dominic.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St, North York, ON M6B3S9). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Sienna Church (2340 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B1N1). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (8361 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L3T1A8).
In memory of Elpina, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Arthritis Society, causes close to the family's heart.
