With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Emelda Nelson (Mississauga, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Emelda left this world on May 9, 2026 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Leroy Nelson; her children, Bruce and Jackie; her grandchildren, Nathniel, Jordan, Justin and Aniya; her great grandchildren, Khalil, Noah, Jaida, Dru, Yara and Shae; her nephews, Dexter and Duane; and her siblings, Vida and Desmond. She was also cherished by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Scott Funeral Home Mississauga Chapel (420 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L5A1X5). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8).
