He is survived by: his wife Shirley Foster (Walter); his children, Daniel Foster (Kerstin), Paul Foster, Stacey Coleman (Jeff) and Susan Valentin (Ronald); and his grandchildren, Andrew, Nick Coleman, Eric, Julian Corlette, Anneliese and Thijs Valentin.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home Mississauga Chapel (420 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L5A1X5).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ernie's memory may be made to The Salvation Army or Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket.
