He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Nadira Affas; his children, Faiz Shasha (Nagham Matloob), Faris Shasha (Dina Shasha), Fenar Shasha (late Waleed Hindi), Farkad Shasha (Zainab Batto) and Fadi Shasha; his grandchildren, Wasan, Khalid, Reem, Fida, Fateh, Rami, Fahad, Ziad, Fawaz, Randa and Christian; and his great grandchildren, Luca, Mateo, Faisal, Saif, Thomas, Ryan and Yara.
