He is survived by: his wife Tine; his children, Maarten (Marcia) and Liesbet (Dave); and his grandchildren, Owen, Abby, Lukas and Jake.
In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made to the Mississauga hospital for their wonderful care over the last days of his life.
