With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hildegarde Bernhardt (Mississauga, Ontario), who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hildegarde Bernhardt to pay them a last tribute.
Though Hildegarde may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Hildegarde touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Bernhardt; her daughter Marilyn Brace (Jim); her grandsons, Colin (Chantel) and Sean (Alannah); and her siblings, Renate Horn, Werner (Bonnie) and Bernie Drechsel (Louise).
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Turner & Porter - Neweduk - Erin Mills Chapel (1981 Dundas St W, Mississauga, ON L5K1R2).
If desired, in lieu of flowers donations to the heart and stroke foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
