She was predeceased by: her family Ruth Amano; her parents, Senzo Yonemura and Kayo Yonemura; and her siblings, Mitsue [Tomagero Inouye], Kazuma [Yaeko Obara], Hisashi Yonemura, Kazuo [Yosh Nagai] and Marge [Spud Kato].
She is survived by: her spouse Yukio Niiya; her family, Donald [Donalda Shimotakahara], Christine Ichiyen [Henry] and Deborah Niiya; her grandchildren, Allison [Ken], Patrick [Yumiko], Kyle, Diana, Marcia [Cathal], Christopher [Grace], Jay [Sara], Richard [Hannah] and Matthew [Jayne]; her great grandchildren, Tyller, Kiefer, Aisling [Matt], Maggie, Penny, Quinn and Lucas; and her sisters, Jane, Kaz Uyesugi and Barbara [Min Hagino].
