Ian James Hastings Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ian James Hastings (Mississauga, Ontario), born in Brisbane, Queensland, who passed away on October 10, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal Hastings and Gwen Hastings; and his sister Diane Van Muyen. He is survived by: his wife Lyndell (Atomic Energy) of Canada Limited; his children, David and Caitlin; his son-in-law Seth Jurnak; his granddaughters, Chloë Elizabeth Porretta (Lizzy), Alyssa Hastings Axiak and Arya Cowern; his niece Nina (Colin Kean); his great-nieces, Zoë and Poppy; his siblings-in-law, Michael and Sandy Cox; and his grandchild Caitlin. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

There will be no funeral but a Celebration of Life will take place in the Spring, in our garden (Covid restrictions permitting).
