We announce the death of Isabel Gaspar of Mississauga, Ontario, who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 88. Isabel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Isabel will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Isabel’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Ferreira Gaspar; her parents, Alberto and Henriqueta (Santos); and her sister Emerlinda. She is survived by: her children, Joe Gaspar and Elizabeth (Bettina); her grandson Samuel Gaspar Vivian; her siblings, Virginia Evangelista (Gina) and Jose; and her child Portuguese.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Glen Oaks Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8).
