She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Moorhead; her parents, Verna Perkins and William Perkins; her aunt Blanche; her uncle Arthur Francis; her children, Janice Gallant (Steve) and Brian Draper (Gayle); her grandchildren, Scott (Megan), Kristin Draper, Matthew, Michael and Mitchell Gallant; her great grandchild Elliott; her siblings, Ernest, Frank, Patricia, Ethel and Diane; and her close friend Aubrey Pottage.
She is survived by: her sister Blanche Hickes; her cousins, Lynne Hayes and Jackie; her stepdaughters, Sharon Hattlmann (Peter), Glenda Counter (Tom), Jane Rushlow (Brett) and Denise Foley (Tim); and her friends, Jack and Mary Eastwood.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skwarchuk Funeral Home (30 Simcoe Rd, Bradford West Gwillimbury, ON L3Z2A9). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In Jackie's memory, donations may be made to the Mt. Albert United Church, Lung Health Foundation, Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
