Joanie was my sister’s best friend and was like another sister to me while growing up. I had the pleasure of celebrating her 50th birthday with her in Florida and will forever cherish those fond memories. Her strength, courage and positive outlook throughout her illness were an inspiration to me. I will keep Joan’s spirit and memory close to my heart.”
