He was predeceased by: his parents, João Jose Oliveira and Maria Mercedes Oliveira; his grandchildren, Anthony, Nicolas and Aliana; and his brother Manuel Oliveira.

He is survived by: his wife Maria De Lurdes Oliveira; his children, John (Roseanne), Luciano, Marco (Annie), Debbie, Marcio (Laura) and Jason (Lucy); and his grandchildren, Ashley, Nathan, Sofia, Isabella, Alexandre, Myia, Luciana, Emily, Roberto, Adrianna, Addison, Jordan, Paisley and Leo.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5A3Y3). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Roman Catholic Church (3495 Confederation Pkwy, Mississauga, ON L5B3G5). A burial will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1N4).
