He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley and Grace (Dymond); and his daughter Helen Tielen (Peter Tielen). He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Carkner); his sister Gwen Sedler; his brother-in-law Walt; his nephew Peter; his great-niece Katherine; his great-nephew David; his grandchildren, Thomas Tielen, Heather Tielen, Jennifer Tielen (Victor Penaflor) and Nicole Bowler (Ryan Bowler); his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Victoria and Elizabeth Bowler; Kathy Mursic. He is also survived by three children, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
