Josip Kivac Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josip Kivac of Mississauga, Ontario, who passed away on July 10, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antun Kivać and Antonija Kivać; his siblings, Franjo, Marko and Marica; his wife Đurđica; and his former wife Vesna.
He is survived by: his sisters, Đurđa and Rozika; his children, Roman (Melissa Haniff) and Sanja (Alexander McFarlane); his grandchildren, Tristan (Natalie), Samantha, Jocelyn and Fraser; and his family Josip. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Turner and Porter Funeral Home - Neweduk Chapel (1981 Dundas St W, Mississauga, ON L5K1R2). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Croatian Martyrs Church (4605 Mississauga Rd, Mississauga, ON L5M2B2). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1N4).
