He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Thannikkotu and Mathri Thannikkotu; and his siblings, Pavoo, Aleyamma, Leela and Benny.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mathew Alavathil, Jacob Elavathil, Achamma Kannampuzha and Mary Varghese.
