She was predeceased by: her parents, Iva Secord and George Secord; and her husband Fred Shand. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Andrew, Mairi (Jordan) and Sarah; her stepchildren, Sandy (Pam), John Shore (Deirdre), Marnie Sherk (Bob) and Ted Shore (Roger); her stepgrandchildren, Andy Sherk (Chris), Heather Van Luven (Kyle), Emily Lyon (Josh) and Trevor Sherk (Alyson); her nieces, Janet Smith (Keith) and Nancy Shepherd (Bruce); and her cousins, Hugh Goodwillie (Sally), Diane Goodwillie, Jane Allen (Dave) and Carolyn Rowan (Peter). She is also survived by 12 step-great-grandchildren.
In Joyce's memory, donations to Knox Presbyterian Church (Oakville), Lyons Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, Doctors Without Borders, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
