We are sad to announce that, on January 14, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Maria (Stalteri) Lanni (Mississauga, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Salvatore Lanni; and her parents, Giuseppe Stalteri and Maria Stalteri. She is survived by: her children, Vincenza (Sam), Ida (Lino), Joe (Anita) and Diane (Oscar); her grandchildren, Adrianno, Rachael, Olivia, Sophia, Romeo, Gabriel, Leandro, Emilia and Drea; and her brothers, John, Tony and Domenic. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers in-law, her nieces and nephews and her many friends.

In light of COVID restrictions, there will be a small private funeral attended by her immediate family only.

In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, donations in Maria's name can be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.

“We were saddened when we learned of the news of Ms. Lanni's passing. We had the pleasure getting to know Ms. Lanni through the PLASP program our girls attended at St. Thomas More school. Despite our kids not being in the PLASP program (about 5 years ago) we would still sometimes see Ms. Lanni when we would pass the school on our evening walks and would stop to speak briefly to see how things were going. She was a beautiful soul and we will never forget the wonderful, caring person she was.”
