Maria Filomena (Caruso) Scavello Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maria Filomena (Caruso) Scavello (Mississauga, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Maria left this world on November 25, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Carmine (Nino); her parents, Rosa Caruso and Giuseppe Caruso; and her brothers, Giovanni, Pasquale and Attilio Caruso.

She is survived by: her children, Nino Jr. (Jean Robertson) and Gabrina (Pierre Doiron); and her grandchildren, Nicholas and Sarah.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church (4070 Central Pkwy E, Mississauga, ON L4Z1T6). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1N4).

In remembrance of Maria life and love, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
