Marilyn Marples Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Marples (Mississauga, Ontario), who passed away on April 8, 2026 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Colin Keith Marples; and her brother Ricky Asselstine. She is survived by: her mother Florence Roode; her children, Shane Asselstine and Natasha Asselstine; her grandchildren, Dylan Harris, Amaya Asselstine and Brody Asselstine; and her siblings, Gary Asselstine, Larry Rhoode, Judy Asselstine, Susan Arsenault, Willie Asselstine and David Asselstine.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made in Marilyn's memory to the Dorothy Ley Hospice.
