With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maureen Nugent (Mississauga, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 30, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maureen Nugent to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John; her children, Geoffrey (Kim) and Karen (Allan); her brother Desmond; her great grandchildren, Jack, Ellie, Lilly and Peyton; her parents, Dr. Harold Johnson and Violet (Chase); and her daughter-in-law Jacqueline. She was also cherished by in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home Mississauga Chapel (420 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L5A1X5).

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations made in Maureen's memory to CNIB Guide Dogs or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
