He is survived by: his wife Thom Hong Phan; and his daughters, Theresa Thu Thuy Bui and Tracy Thanh Thuy Bui.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B1M8). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Merciful Redeemer Parish (2275 Erin Centre Blvd, Mississauga, ON L5M5C1). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1N4).
