He was predeceased by: his parents, John Saunders and Helen Saunders. He is survived by: his wife Christine; his sister Margaret MacDermaid; Turner.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Neweduk Chapel (1981 Dundas St W, Mississauga, ON L5K1R2). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
