We are sad to announce that on May 28, 2025, at the age of 99, Mike Piorczynski of Mississauga, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Mike leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Mike may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Piorczynski; and his daughter Marion Wickens. He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Anderson; his grandchildren, Jacquie Wickens (Mark), Spencer Anderson (Shannon) and Sydney Wickens; and his great grandchildren, Zachary and Lillian. He is also survived by his extended family, nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turner & Porter 'Peel' Chapel (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B1M8). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Turner & Porter - Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B1M8). A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Springcreek Cemetery (1390 Clarkson Rd N, Mississauga, ON L5J2W6).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dorothy Ley Hospice or the Trillium Health Foundation.
