She was predeceased by: her parents, Khuda Bux and Zia Minhas of Uganda; and her friend Julie Fleet. She is survived by: her siblings, Dr. Emad Minhas (Husan Ara), Tasnim Desa (Tess), Edgar of Mississauga, Rehana Minhas Amin, Arif, Dr. Rahat Minhas of Rafat Minhas, QC, Dr. Ferhat Minhas and Jalal of Morocco; her sister-in-law Dr. Husan Ara of Pudsey, England.; her friends, Mary Kassam, Julie Das, Rama Tharkar, Naseem Butt, Margaret D'Souza, Jasbir Kalsi, Das, Firdose Hussein and Suraiya; her sister Amber Dass; her nephews, Remi and Ali; her friends, Victor and Alzira Fernandes of Montreal; and her brother-in-law Edgar (Tess Desa). She is also survived by daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, great-aunt and adopted family member to her friends.
