It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nikola Brodar (Mississauga, Ontario), who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mira Brodar; his children, Elisabeth Nejasmic (Jozo), Niki Piplica (Angelo), Stephen Brodar (Sandy) and Veronica Špehar (Anthony); his grandchildren, Luka Piplica, Nikolina Nejasmic, Mateo Piplica, Sofia Brodar, Viktoria Brodar, Niko Brodar, Karlo Špehar, Dario Špehar and Angelina Špehar; and his brother-in-law Ivo Sorić (Bernice).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5A3Y3). A rosary will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Croatian Martyrs (4605 Mississauga Rd, Mississauga, ON L5M2B2). A burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1N4).
In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions will be made for the offering of masses in remembrance of Nikola, to the Covenant House and to the Canadian Food for Children Foundation.
