Paul Mertes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2025, at the age of 67, Paul Mertes (Mississauga, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Paul leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda; his children, William and Liisa; his parents, Joyce Mertes and Bernerd Mertes; his brother Ted (Marian); his sister-in-law Carol (Dan); his nephews, Michael, David and Christopher; and his niece Jennifer.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B1M8). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
