We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2025, at the age of 67, Paul Mertes (Mississauga, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda; his children, William and Liisa; his parents, Joyce Mertes and Bernerd Mertes; his brother Ted (Marian); his sister-in-law Carol (Dan); and his sibling's children, Michael, David, Christopher and Jennifer.

It has been many years since I last saw you and Paul but I have good memories from the uni and post-uni years of encounters and parties.
