He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hannigan; the mother of his children Margaret; his children, Teresa (Len), Pauline, Sally (Simon), Karin and Christopher (Beverly); his grandchildren, Tom (Hilary), Samantha (Trevor), Meghan, Sarah, Michael, Hannah, Olivia, Colman, Claire and Graham; and his great grandchildren, Emmet, Maryanna, William, Kylie, Kora and Karley.
