He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Rosamond; his parents, James Edgar and Teresa Rosamond; his brothers, Donald, Norman, Kenneth (Evelyn) and Thomas Howard; and his nephews, James Rosamond and Steven Kennedy.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Lorie Walker; his children, Kimberley Burnette (Sheldon) of Mississauga and Duane Rosamond of Belleville; his grandchildren, Secoyah, Ashantie, Akeelah Burnette, Jackson and Claire Rosamond; his brother-in-law Bill Kennedy (late Irene); and his nieces and nephews, Bradley Kennedy, Jason Kennedy, Tracy Kennedy, Lynn Allgeier and Pam Hellam.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home (141 Renfrew St, Pembroke, ON K8A5R8). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Calendrier Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
