With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald O'Connor (Mississauga, Ontario), who passed away on May 22, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Ronald departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ronald may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ronald leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Janet O'Connor; and his sisters, Patricia Zapal (Thomas) and Eileen Wanvig. He is survived by: his children, Josephine Shanks (Andrew) (Jo), Sharon O'Connor and Andrew O'Connor (Janice); and his grandchildren, Nicholas Shanks and Lindsay Melko (Justin).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Neweduk - Erin Mills Chapel (1981 Dundas St W, Mississauga, ON L5K1R2). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
