It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Sakaye Yano (Mississauga, Ontario), who passed away on February 23, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sally Sakaye Yano to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Satoshi; her daughter Cynthia; her grandchildren, Brittany and Joshua; and her siblings, Chisae (late Minoru), Marie (late Johnny) and Dick (Nella).

She is survived by : her children, Craig (Julie), Janice (Stan), Sharon, Brian (Yu Kyung) and Bruce; and her sisters, Molly (Tak) and Patti (late John). She is also survived by her children and grandchildren, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre or the Toronto Buddhist Church.
