She was predeceased by: her spouse Gene Canniff; her parents, Sherman Thompson and Effie Thompson; her siblings, Phyllis, Jack, Ross, Burley and Sandra; her sister-in-law Reta; and her daughter-in-law Trudy.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Canniff (Pat) of Mississauga and Edward Canniff (Rosemarie) of Trenton; her grandchildren, Diane (Alex), Robert, Victoria (Jake) and Tara-Lee (Justin); her great grandchildren, Raylynn, Marsalee, Liam, Titan, Talon, Bennett and Briar; her stepgrandchildren, Marcus (Amandah), Sheena (Kenny), Hailee, Meriah, Zachary, Gracelyn, Brynlei and Juliette; her great great grandchild Addisyn; and her sister Patricia Smith.
