It is with sadness that the passing of Silvija Piecaitis in Mississauga, Ontario is shared. Silvija, born on October 23, 1938, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Silvija will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Silvija by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Silvija is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Silvija’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband Vincas (Vince). She is survived by: her daughter Daiva Lapas; her son-in-law Richard Lapas; her grandchildren, Viktoras and Luke; and her nieces and nephews, Roma, Gaila, Rimas, Linas, Aras, Danius and Juozas.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lithuanian Martyrs Church (2185 Stavebank Rd, Mississauga, ON L5C1T3). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
