She was also cherished by her many nieces, and nephews, and extended family.

“So sad to hear this news. I knew mrs. Burt as my friend, chris’, mom when i was in high school. I then went on to know her as a colleague at the city of mississauga (where i still called her “mrs. Burt” and she kept reminding me that i didn’t have to call her that anymore, as we were now coworkers). That memory still makes me chuckle to this day. She was wonderful to work with and we’re all fortunate to have known her. Peace be with your family at this time. Amber griffin.”
