She was predeceased by: her father Raulino; and her siblings, Maria S. Melo of Lisbon, Filomena, Rosa Loura (Mario) of Hudson Massachusetts, Alexandrina Melo of Cambridge, José M. Sousa (Helena) of Cambridge, António S. Melo (Maria Dora) of Santa Maria and Manuel M. Sousa (Rosa) of Mississauga.

She is survived by: her husband Clemente; her children, Nelson and Michelle; and her granddaughters, Sophia and Eliana.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5A3Y3). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the S. Salvador Do Mundo Church (1212 Melton Dr, Mississauga, ON L4Y4B1). A burial was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1N4).
