With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Waldemar Marcin Markiewicz (Mississauga, Ontario), born in Wilno, Ontario, who passed away on July 27, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam and Monika; his siblings, Ryszard and Danuta; the mother of his children Regina; and also John.
He is survived by: his siblings, Adam and Marysia; his sons, Andrzej and Leszek; and also, Shirley and Bill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home Mississauga Chapel (420 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L5A1X5). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 8:15 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish (4260 Cawthra Rd, Mississauga, ON L4Z1V8). A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John's Dixie Cemetery (737 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L4Y2B5).
