It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Winefride Johnson (Mississauga, Ontario), who passed away on May 15, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Stan Holland; her sisters, Barbara Holland and Christine Leach (Frank); and her extended family, Mary Lloyd (Tom), John Lloyd, Pat Leadbetter (late David), Janine Leadbetter and Mark Leadbetter (Sarah).

She is survived by: her husband Derek; her children, Andrew Johnson (Heather) and Alison Silbert (Jonathan); her grandchildren, Benjamin and Stephanie; her pets, Cooper and Jax; her mother Jenny Holland; and her nieces, Nicola Leach and Karen Leach (Paul MacNamara).

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Neweduk Chapel (1981 Dundas St W, Mississauga, ON L5K1R2). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers those who wish can donate to Trillium Health Partners Foundation, in support of the Credit Valley Hospital Cancer Center where Win received treatment to beat Cancer and where she looked forward to volunteering every Friday morning.
