She was predeceased by : her husband Alvin Kemp; her parents, John Hamilton and Janet "Jessie" Hamilton; and her siblings, Robert Hamilton (Audrey) and Mary Elliott (Lorne).

She is survived by : her children, Ruth Ann Gray (Larry), Gary Kemp (Sandra), Brenda Kemp and Barry Kemp (Glenda); and her grandchildren, Scott (Josie), Casey (Laura), Tim (Jaime), Brittany (Jordan), Carly and Matthew. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
